The Mayfair Residence
"A multi-story heritage townhouse revitalized with open layouts and luminous marbles."
Redesigning a Grade II listed townhouse in London's Mayfair presented a unique challenge: historic exterior constraints paired with a desire for open, light-filled modern living. We removed select partition walls, inserting a bespoke steel armature to create a continuous ground-floor gallery space.
The material palette centers around Calacatta Oro marble, meticulously hand-selected from Tuscan quarries, and rich chevron walnut flooring. Our contracting team executed the custom steel stair structural installation with absolute structural precision.
Using custom structural glass floors and mirror-polished metals to reflect scarce London daylight deep into the building's core.
Historic architecture demands respect, but it also demands light. We wanted to introduce a clean, Mediterranean luminosity into the heart of London.
